Today it is my turn to show you some of my work with the lovely Pink Gem Designs Love Owls. I used 2 of the owls that are sold in this set but they are also available as single digistamps and you get them in Coloured versions and in Black and White. So if you are in need of some fast images it is so easy to print off the coloured ones and use them on your creations. Today I used the black and white versions on my cards.

I love to play with my Silhouette Silhouette Cameo cutting machine cutting machine and I designed some new wordcards to play with this time. First one is made for a Birthday and I used the Hugs and Kisses owl on this one. I coloured the owl with Prismacolor pencils and sansodor. While the wordcards do not take alot of time to make as the cuttingmachine does most of the work, I decided that the cards needed Faux Stitches around the edges so I used a needlepintool to make the holes and then added the stitches with a white gelpen. The flowers are all punches out with a small flowerpunch but you can easily use little diecuts or even little stickers to decorate the card. And I used little pearls.

And my second card is a LoveCard as I used the love Owls The wordcards says Liefde which means Love in Dutch….  I coloured the Owl always Love you owl with Prismacolor pencils and sansodor and I used a white gelpen on the wordcard to draw little hearts as I found that I did not have a small heart punch and I made these cards on vacation so I did not bring my cuttingmachine with me so I had to doodle a bit which also can be alot of fun.
